| Why FBLA?
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is an organization that introduces high school students to the world of business. Random Lake High School’s chapter has enjoyed trying new experiences and Breaking Barriers this year.
FBLA membership tripled during the 2010-2011 school year. This fall the chapter hosted a spaghetti dinner during parent teacher conferences, a dodge ball tournament, and a movie night in the auditorium. In spring, the chapter focused on competition. Regional Competition was held at Brookfield East High School on Saturday, February 5. Mackenzie Sinnen placed third in Client Services, earning a spot to compete at the State Leadership Conference. In April FBLA participated at the State Leadership Conference in Appleton. Mackenzie Sinnen placed ninth, achieving the highest rank in school’s history. The chapter competed in Local Annual Business Report. Prepared by Amanda Isler, the report placed fifteenth overall. Becoming interested in FBLA opens a variety of doors. As a member of FBLA, you can learn to be a leader.
